Environmental Stress & Trauma Support Tea

Containing adaptogenic herbs aiming to restore and protect the body from stress, this tea of earthy roots paired with aromatic spices is a general tonic supporting key areas of the body.  Ashwagandha root, astragalus root, codonopsis root, reishi mushroom, and Rhodiola root support the immune, musculoskeletal, and nervous systems.   Codonopsis and Rhodiola roots also boost energy levels, helping those suffering from stress and chronic fatigue. Ginger root has vital properties, especially key for the mental health of post-traumatic stress disorder, PTSD.  While it stimulates the production of serotonin and melatonin, the hormones assist in the regulation of happiness and natural sleep.   The combination of Burdock and dandelion roots support less active bodies, working well together to eliminate deficiencies in the liver and kidneys. SUGGESTIONS:  The longer the tea steeps, the more potent the tea becomes.  If you do not like a strong, potent flavor, add more water to mellow the taste. 

Transferring the contents of the tea to a Mason jar allows you to shake the contents, ensuring an equal balance of the roots, seeds, and powdered herbs. 

DIRECTIONS:  Combine three tablespoons and four cups of water in a saucepan.  Cover.  Turn the heat to simmer and stir occasionally across 20 minutes.  Cover and steep for an additional hour.   Consider making a pitcher and drinking two cups daily for the best effect!
