Barberry Tincture- Promoting Healing Heart/Digestive & Infection Health

Plants and herbs have always been a common source of medications.  Through the extraction, creating a solution of alcohol and distilled water, the result is the purest form of a specific herb or synergy (pairing potent herbs) into a tincture. 

Barberry, featuring berberine compounds, has been used for over 2,500 years.  Possessing antioxidants, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antiseptic properties, beneficial for overall well-being.  Ideal to lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels.  Barberry can aid cardiovascular (circulation) and digestive health, including kidneys and liver, heartburn, and digestive spasms.  Additionally, diarrhea brought on by food poisoning or traveling responds well to a barberry tincture. 

Two-ounce liquid tincture will last six weeks, if used everyday.  If kept in a cool, dark location, the contents will remain shelf-stable for over five years.

INGREDIENTS:  1:5, 50% alcohol (80% proof) and 50% distilled water; 1-4 ml (2 droppers, 60 drops) twice daily.
