Athlete's tea is designed for the active body, which needs essential nutrients to strengthen the bones, blood, and nervous system.  Ashwagandha root, eleuthero root, skullcap, dandelion leaf, and gotu kola leaf all support the immune system, bolstering energy, concentration, and focus.  Skullcap additionally has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties. Dandelion root offers antioxidants, promotes liver health, fights inflammation, and helps with cravings and weight loss.  Rich in minerals, nettle leaf stabilizes the body's mood and concentration levels while protecting the body and its systems from fatigue.   Licorice root complements nettle leaf by protecting the body against over-training and reducing inflammations in strains and sprains.

The taste, while minty and botanical, is slightly bittersweet.

DIRECTIONS:  Transfer the loose herbs to a Mason jar, ensuring, upon shaking, an even distribution of leaves and roots.  HOT INFUSION:  pour 1.5 cups of hot water over two tablespoons of loose herbs.  Steep between 10 to 15 minutes.  COLD INFUSION:  Combine two cups of cold water and two tablespoons of loose tea in a lidded glass container.  Shake to saturate the herbs and refrigerate for at least two hours.  Consider making a pitcher for the daily effect of building strength and healing.

INGREDIENTS:  Ashwagandha (Indian ginseng), dandelion root, Eleuthero (Siberian ginseng), peppermint leaf, skullcap leaf, nettle leaf, gotu kola leaf, licorice root
